Greater Newark Conservancy’s
Stay-at-Home Luncheon
Please join us in celebrating the 21 amazing years Robin Dougherty has dedicated to Greater Newark Conservancy as Executive Director as she flies off to her next chapter.
Robin's signature program has been the Newark Youth Leadership Project (NYLP). She founded the program in 1999 to cultivate the future of Newark—its high school and college students. NYLP introduced more than 1,000 area youth to their first jobs, career exploration, and opportunities to continue on to college. Under Robin's leadership, these young people experienced a caring, nurturing environment. Many have continued their relationships with the Conservancy, giving back to the program that helped them succeed. Under Robin’s leadership, the Conservancy's education programs have reached tens of thousands of Newark's children over the decades.
You can support NYLP now, and honor Robin's long commitment and important contributions to the mission of Greater Newark Conservancy, with your vitally needed donation.
Due to COVID we are not holding our usual spring event. This means that more of your generous contributions will not only support NYLP and the Conservancy’s programs but will help celebrate Robin's meaningful tenure at the Conservancy, as a portion of the funds raised will go toward a new bird watching station for visitors of all ages to enjoy at the Judith L Shipley Outdoor Learning Center.
