From Plant to Plate
The Newark Network of School Gardens is a collaborative of educators, parents, administrators and others interested in opening the world of the garden to young people. This series of professional development workshops will help you start and develop a school or youth garden.
BE A GREEDY GARDENER
Get comfortable preparing, cooking, and eating with your students. Learn the basics of good nutrition to get students started on a lifetime of good health. The workshop includes hands-on cooking and tasting.

Get outside and enjoy some nature at our Outdoor Learning Center or Urban Farm! Volunteers are a vital part of Greater Newark Conservancy’s mission and operations. You can volunteer as an individual or as a group.
