The Newark Network of School Gardens is a collaborative of educators, parents, administrators and others interested in opening the world of the garden to young people. This series of professional development workshops will help you start and develop a school or youth garden.

We will discuss how to plan and design your garden, basic gardening skills, necessary resources, outdoor classroom management and how to connect the garden to your curriculum goals.
