Karen Wexler, Board Co-Chair
Karen Wexler has served on the Greater Newark Conservancy’s board since November 2017. Having grown up in Manhattan, she cultivated her love for nature and green spaces in Inwood Hill park (across the street from her apartment), at her family’s summer house in Rockaway, NJ, and through spending time on a kibbutz in Israel and in Ithaca, NY. Karen worked as a research scientist and in marketing and public relations at a DNA testing company, and in pharmaceutical advertising as an account manager, copywriter, and editor. She lives in Basking Ridge, NJ with her husband and daughter. Karen holds a B.S. in microbiology from Cornell University.
