Young Sprouts — Garden Adventures for Early Childhood

Get comfortable using the outdoors or a window box garden to strengthen science instruction using inquiry-based activities. We will explore sensory and play-focused activities that make curricular connections between science, math, and literacy for early learners. 

Your Curriculum in Your School Garden

Wednesday, May 22 • 4 – 5:30 pm • $5

Starting a school garden is hard. Sustaining it is even harder. But making the garden a vital part of your school’s curriculum can be the most daunting task of all. Come to this workshop to discuss methods for aligning standards-based curricula in science, math, language arts and more with the possibilities presented in the school garden. Take away ready-to-use lesson plans from leaders in the field of garden-based education.
