March 20th marked the First Day of Spring — a day all of us at the Conservancy were anxiously awaiting! Our farmers are planting new crops at our Hawthorne Avenue Farm, we are working on plans for new hydroponic greenhouses, and our education staff and service members are busy planning an exciting summer for Newark youth. Everything is in place for a fantastic year on our urban farm and at the Judith L. Shipley Urban Environmental Center.
From family education programs to gardening workshops, there’s something for everyone at the Conservancy. Learn all about our Spring and Summer programs and events in our new program guide.
